OM Mantra Meditation Yoga Prayer Shawl

This unisex OM Mantra jute fabric shawl is designed to be worn during meditation or prayer and allows people to wrap themselves in holiness with sacred mantras.

Decorated with the mantra “Om,” the first sound of the universe and is revealed in some Vedic scriptures as a means toward enlightenment.

Worn for comfort for cool breezes, it is hand-dyed and hand-printed in terracotta with the mantra “Om” in decorative Sanskrit letters, an attractive contrast that highlights the ancient prayer.

Each shawl is hand-printed by devotional artisans of India on a 100% natural jute fabric, providing employment for marginalized artisans.

These shawls are made of jute plant fiber known as “golden fiber” that brings a subtle shine to the shawls. It is called the “golden fiber” because of its slightly golden and silky shine a highly renewable fiber grown abundantly in India.

Fibers from the jute plant are strong and highly breathable with good moisture-wicking properties. It also uses less water and fertilizer than cotton, with a shorter growing cycle and lower overall carbon footprint.
